Nurse Telephone Triage Service (NTTS) is an RN-owned company committed to providing high quality telephone triage health advice to patients and caregivers. Our service allows physicians and healthcare providers to have an enhanced quality of life with their own families. This in turn will also allow the physicians to be more productive with their own patients in the office setting.
The physicians can be assured that their patients are cared for in the after-hours times, using the same standards that they are accustomed to in their own practices. We strive to be an extension of the office, to work with the physicians, and to provide continuity of excellent care.
NTTS is dedicated to providing high quality telephone triage health advice to your patients. Our program can be tailored to meet the needs of your specific practice. We strive to maintain streamlined care for your patients and caregivers that matches the quality of care that your office provides. We not only provide triage services but believe strongly in educating patients on their health care needs. Our RNs are the link between you and your patients in their time of need. The owners—Helen Lapointe, RN, and Joann Somerville, RN—seek to keep the lines of communication open and respond promptly to any questions or concerns that you may have. We are readily available by phone or email.
NTTS utilizes Barton Schmitt, MD, and David Thompson, MD, protocols via ClearTriage. A patient call report, which serves as documentation of the triage encounter, is provided electronically to the office immediately upon closure of the triage note. This formal document detailing the specifics of the health advice call can then be placed in the
patient’s chart at your location. We also provide superior billing methods that document each encounter and can be tailored to meet the needs of your practice.
We look forward to becoming an extension of your practice when you are away from the office, offering the same high quality care your patients are accustomed to. Please contact us so that we may work together toward supporting you in caring for your patients.
Nurse Telephone Triage Service holds the values of respect, compassion and integrity in high regard with all interactions when communicating with patients, caregivers, physicians, practitioners and staff members.
